Creative Writing - Half Day Workshop
£5.25 per pupil
Let your pupils’ imaginations run wild, inspired by the wonderful objects and artworks at Cannon Hall or The Cooper Gallery.
This workshop is the perfect opportunity to stimulate ideas for writing composition. Pupils will take a tour of the museum and then let their creative juices flow, developing ideas for a deeper focus back in the classroom.
Pupils will draft and write by selecting appropriate grammar and vocabulary, understanding how such choices can change and enhance meaning, as well as propose changes to vocabulary, grammar and punctuation to clarify meaning.
Accessibility information for Cannon Hall can be found here - https://www.cannon-hall.com/accessibility, including a 360 tour of the Hall, visual stories and photographs to help plan your visit.
There is a ‘Space to Change’ toilet at Cannon Hall. This does not meet the dimension requirements of a Changing Places but includes a hoist and changing table.
Accessibility information about The Cooper Gallery can be found here - https://www.cooper-gallery.com/accessibility.
We are happy to help and make any adjustments we can for a range of access needs. Please contact us before your visit to discuss this.
