The Miller's Apprentice - Half Day Workshop

£160 per class

Pupils will become apprentices for the day as they find out all about what makes a Mill work. Learn about the history of Worsbrough Mill, meet the Miller, explore simple machines, and have a go at building your own!

On this course, pupils will understand and use mechanical systems in their products (gears, pulleys, cams, levers and linkages), will recognise that some mechanisms including levers, pulleys and gears, allow a smaller force to have a greater effect and pupils will make a local history study.

Please note that this session is most suitable for Upper KS2 pupils.
