The Miller's Apprentice - Half Day Workshop
£160 per class
Pupils will become apprentices for the day as they find out all about what makes a Mill work. Learn about the history of Worsbrough Mill, meet the Miller, explore simple machines, and have a go at building your own!
Pupils will understand and use mechanical systems in their products (gears, pulleys, cams, levers and linkages), will recognise that some mechanisms including levers, pulleys and gears, allow a smaller force to have a greater effect and pupils will make a local history study.
Please note that this session is most suitable for Upper KS2 pupils.
