Barnsley Museums to host exclusive exhibition celebrating Cleopatra and the Queens of Egypt
Barnsley Museums are thrilled to announce the launch of a truly unique exhibition this March. Step into the mesmerising world of ancient Egypt at the Experience Barnsley Museum, where Cleopatra and the Queens of Egypt will open on Saturday 7 March 2026, running until February 2027.
John Ledger’s “Straight A’s” Exhibition Opens at Cooper Gallery
A new exhibition, “Straight A’s”, by local artist John Ledger, opens at the Cooper Gallery from Saturday 17 January to Saturday 11 April 2026. It will offer visitors a powerful and honest insight into mental health, drawing on Ledger’s own life experiences through his acclaimed large-scale drawings, video, and sculpture.
