Field to flour - Half Day Workshop

Explore the journey of wheat from field to flour in this hands-on workshop.
Pupils will visit the Mill and see how it works, find out all about the different foods that can be made from flour, and have a go at grinding their own flour from wheat.
This workshop is most suitable for Lower KS2
Pupils will understand seasonality and know where and how a variety of ingredients are grown, reared, caught and processed
Pupils will explore the requirements of plants for life and growth
Pupils will make a local history study
