Field to flour - Half Day Workshop

The workshop

Pupils will visit the Mill to explore the journey of wheat from field to flour, find out all about the different foods that can be made from flour, and have a go at grinding their own flour from wheat in this hands-on workshop.

Pupils will understand seasonality and know where and how a variety of ingredients are grown, reared, caught and processed, will explore the requirements of plants for life and growth and pupils will make a local history study.

Please note that this workshop is most suitable for Lower KS2 pupils.
