Portraits and self identity (trip) - Half Day Workshop

£160 per class

Pupils will become immersed in original works from The Cooper Gallery collection, or the De Morgan Collection at Cannon Hall Museum, learning new ways of looking at and interpreting art.

Focussing on portraits by local artists, they will learn the basic principles of portraiture while developing their sketching skills.

Pupils will also learn to use drawing, painting and sculpture to develop and share their ideas, experience and imagination, as well as learn to improve their mastery of art and design techniques, including drawing, painting and sculpture with a range of materials; for example pencil, charcoal, paint and clay.

Please note, this workshop can take place at either The Cooper Gallery or Cannon Hall Museum.
