Shared Horizons Mini Exhibition
Shared Horizon Celebration launches an inspirational new exhibition as part of a creative health programme designed to support vulnerable adults experiencing loneliness and isolation across Barnsley. The ‘Shared Horizon’ Celebration exhibition will feature colourful creative works from several elderly rural community groups and brings together an exciting array of art works that have been developed in collaboration with artists Sarah Jane Palmer and Sally Philburn.
Shared Horizon is a creative health programme designed to support adults experiencing loneliness through art and connection. It works in partnership with BIADS Dementia Support, NHS Stroke Recovery, Weavers Court Sheltered Housing, Culture Companions, Bolton on Dearne Natter Friendship and Hoylandswaine Friendship groups
The exhibition will be on display in The Cooper Gallery’s Sadler Room corridor from 28 February until 26 July 2026.
