Step into history walks - Parkland Monuments

Family in a park with two adults—one carrying a baby and walking a small white dog, the other pushing a stroller—while two children run on the grass holding a frisbee and a stuffed animal, with trees and distant buildings in the background.

11am - 12:45pm

Head out into the parkland on a friendly volunteer-led walk to learn about the way in which Thomas and William Wentworth shaped their wider estate.

The route will take in all of the significant monuments and features in the parkland: the Duke of Argyll monument, the Rotunda, Queen Anne obelisk, Serpentine and Palladian bridge. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, meet others and enjoy the views and the wildlife.

New for 2025: the walk will include a chance to look inside the Rotunda and view the black & white geometric floor.

Free event, booking not required.
