The Mystery of the Mummy's Curse

The year is 1907 and local archaeologist Harold Jones has returned from Egypt where he has been exploring the Valley of the Kings.
Fresh from his travels, Harold attends a dinner party with his friends the Spencer Stanhopes at Cannon Hall.
However, during the meal, the lights suddenly go out and when order is restored Harold and his case of artefacts are gone! Can you help solve the mystery and stop the mummy’s curse?

Tickets are £5 per child. Suitable for children aged 7 - 11 years. 1 ticket required per child. Accompanying adults do not need to book but the number is restricted to 2 adults per child.

Inspired by our Cleopatra and the Queens of Egypt exhibition at Experience Barnsley Museum and Discovery Centre, this exciting workshop will take place at Cannon Hall Museum. When you arrive come to the museum reception where our friendly staff will greet you. 

Due to the historic nature of the location, the route taken during the session will include staircases and steps.
