WW2 - Full Day Workshop

£280 per class

The workshop

Pupils meet the Cook and Land Girl at Cannon Hall and become evacuees for the day in this immersive workshop.

They will take part in traditional wartime activities, view real and replica objects and discover how to make tasty treats, even during rationing!

  • Pupils will learn about significant people, places and events in their locality after 1066.
  • Pupils will make a local history study

This workshop is suitable for one class, with a maximum of 36 pupils.

Please note that a minimum of 5 adults is required for this trip to ensure adequate supervision for all activities. These can include parents and carers.

Accessibility information for Cannon Hall can be found here, including a 360 tour of the Hall, visual stories and photographs to help plan your visit.

There is a ‘Space to Change’ toilet at Cannon Hall. This does not meet the dimension requirements of a Changing Places but includes a hoist and changing table.

We are happy to help and make any adjustments we can for a range of access needs, please contact us before your visit to discuss this.
